The Honor 10 will be available from Tuesday 15 May, to co-incide with the United Kingdom launch event in London, priced £399. The company has announced that it will be launching its upcoming smartphone Honor 7C in India on May 22.
Internally, the latest premium smartphone from Honor is powered by a Hi-Silicon Kirin 970 processor. The handset sports many flagship specs and is practically Honor's version of the Huawei P20 lineup.
The Kirin 970 Chipset is paired with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of onboard storage. The Honor 10 isn't supposed to be as good as a phone which carries the haloed Leica insignia, but it's supposed to use a lot of the same derivative technologies to give it a category-redefining edge.More news: Salma Hayek offers a solution to the gender pay gap
Huawei's Honor 10 comes with a 5.84-inch bezel less full view display and can move the top notch.
Billed as "perfect for a one-handed grip", the 5.84-inch Honor 10 is today expanding to an eclectic mix of European and Asian markets, including the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Saudi Arabia, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore. The high-quality dual-camera setup (16MP RGB+24MP monochrome) is different than the P20, though, and features f/1.8 aperture, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), as well as AI-powered scene recognition, plus intelligent image stabilization. The glass back also means that the Honor 10 will be a smudge and dust magnet. It runs EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Selfies aren't to be forgotten as there is a 24-megapixel camera which comes with huge 1.8um sub pixels housed inside an iPhone X-like notch.
In India, the 6GBRAM plus 128GBmodel of Honor 10 will be available exclusively via Flipkart with pre-orders starting tonight at 12.00 am. It will also include an 8MP front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with dual SIM card slots, and there is no expandable storage option, but 128GB storage should be good enough to suffice your storage needs. The phone charges via USB Type-C and supports fast charging with the company's Super Charge technology claimed to offer 50 per cent charge in 25 minutes of charging. Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS.
