While the new phones have three cameras from famed German camera maker Leica on their rear - a regular lens, a telephoto lens and a wide-angle lens - there are slight differences between the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro.
Earlier reports said that Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20X, Mate 20 Porsche edition and a new smartwatch. The Huawei Mate 20 X comes with a massive 7.2-inch display and support for Huawei's M-Pen stylus.
The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro are also the first Huawei devices to ship with Android 9 Pie, overlaid with its EMUI skin, with a simpler interface and gesture navigation.
Huawei's collaboration with luxury lifestyle brand Porsche Design continues with the Mate 20 series, as Singapore buyers will also be able to purchase a premium version of the Mate 20 Pro, called the Mate 20 RS, in November. The primary 40MP camera has a regular focal length, while the 20MP has an ultra wide-angle lens with a focal length of 16mm. Both the smartphones will be sold in five colour options: Emerald Green, Midnight Blue, Pink Gold, Twilight, and Black.More news: Kanye West returns to social media with 10-minute 'mind control' rant
