But Barron County, Wisconsin, Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald, whose department is leading the investigation, told reporters Tuesday afternoon that Wisconsin investigators and the FBI checked out the video and that it couldn't be considered "credible information" because it didn't come from his team.
When officers arrived at the home they discovered two adults dead in what they called a "violent crime scene".

Meanwhile, the Barron County Sheriff's Office has received more than 800 tips on the case.
"We have over 200 law enforcement workers on the ground right now", Fitzgerald said. The sheriff has said authorities know whose cell phone made that call, but they have not released that information.

Four minutes later police entered the bungalow in Wisconsin to find the bodies of James and Denise Closs. A drone and infrared camera are used to search the area around the Closs home, but Jayme was not found. Their deaths have both been ruled homicides.
"(The FBI) are the experts in breaking down 911 tapes, looking at our phones, and taking care of all evidence in that manner", Fitzgerald said. Authorities have stopped short of classifying her disappearance as an abduction, saying only that it's a possibility, although an Amber Alert was issued.
It's unclear if the attack was random or targeted, he added.
Barron Area School District administrator Diane Tremblay said Jayme, a member of her school's cross-country team, is a "sweet girl who is a loyal friend and loves to dance".
Neighbors reported hearing gunshots coming from the family's home shortly after midnight Monday.
Investigators say Jayme Closs is not a suspect.
