The stores that will close include Rona on Barrydowne Road in Sudbury, as well as a Rona and Lowe's in Sault Ste.
The Lowe's Home Improvement store in Shippensburg is one of 51 North American stores that will be closed, the retailer announced Monday.
The company says it will give associates opportunities to transition to other stores.
Lowe's Canadian business is based in Boucherville, Que. and has more than 630 corporate and independent affiliate dealer stores.

On Monday, the home improvement giant announced it will shutter 20 stores in the US - including two in Manhattan - and 31 stores in Canada, according to the Wall Street Journal. During his time at Penney, the retailer closed 142 unprofitable stores.
In a research note Monday, Credit Suisse analyst Seth Sigman said Lowe's decision is "a positive step towards improving productivity of the chain".
Lowe's bought Rona, Canada's biggest home improvement chain, in 2016 for about $2 billion, adding about 700 stores to its 40 in the country.
