The teaser dropped after the Comic Con experience in Brazil, where creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss were on hand to greet fans. It's a nice nod to the show's source material, George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series.
Game of Thrones will return with six episodes from April 2019.
"In the third part of the last season, there is a battle that the creators intend to be the biggest in television history", he said. "They've really done a tremendous job in servicing the drama and the characters and so forth, and there are many ups and downs and twists and turns all across the "Game of Thrones" society and the world they are", he added.
Towards the end of the teaser, a wall of dragon glass is formed when the waves of fire and ice finally meet.
