Drake has responded to the rant on his IG with some laughing emojis.
West's verbal assault on Drake then turned to the apology he was waiting for over remarks the former child star had made about Kanye, most notably on French Montana's No Stylist track, on which the 32-year-old mocked West and his Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 sneaker line.
But West's wife, Kim Kardashian West, stood by her husband in tweets posted early Friday.
Kanye shared a text message from his friend Free along with a cryptic caption at around 1pm on Thursday.More news: Surprise, surprise! Meghan Markle was the most Googled person in 2018
In the first tweet above, Kanye West revealed that Drake's camp asked for clearance on a sample he produced, even before apologizing for dissing him on tracks.
Kanye added in the accompanying caption 'This proves s**t faker than wrestling'.
As far as Twitter eruptions go, this was spectacular. In June, Kanye placed the words "I hate being Bi-Polar, its awesome" on the cover art for his 2018 album Ye. Over the course of his afternoon Twitter tirade, Kanye chastised Drake for what he perceived to be two-faced behavior.
Things then got somewhat more abstract: 'this ain't about who could pay to have something done to somebody This man to man bro This been bothering me too long'. One of the big moments in their tense relationship came in October when, during an interview with LeBron James, Drake claimed that Kanye was the one who told Pusha T (his longtime collaborator) about the In My Feelings hitmaker's son, Adidon.
After several other accusatory statements Kanye reported back to fans an hour later stating that 'Drake finally called, ' and 'mission accomplished'.
