Starting in spring 2019, Samsung's smart TVs will support AirPlay 2 streaming, meaning iPhone, iPad, and Mac users will be able to stream audio and video from their devices to compatible 2019 Samsung TVs.

The biggest TV makers in the business are finally ready to play nice with Apple.
That means Samsung televisions will now give users the ability to access the iTunes library, buy or rent movies and TV shows from the store, and watch all the movies and TV shows they've already bought from Apple in the past. Apple has been snatching up original content and is expected to launch its service later this year. With the latest announcement, Samsung is now allowing users to use Google Apps without relying on Google Assistant. As of right now, both Samsung and Vizio have stated that their 2018 Smart TV models will be getting AirPlay 2 support via a firmware update in the coming months.
