Nvidia has announced the launch of its GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card family, new Turing-based RTX-capable laptop models, and partial support for running AMD FreeSync monitors - referred to under their cross-vendor Adaptive Sync terminology - from Nvidia graphics cards. People were impressed by the tech but not excited about the price, especially when the top of the line 2080 Ti goes for £1,200. Huang claimed that the RTX 2060 can beat the GTX 1070 Ti, which is at least $50 more expansive at the moment.

Huang also announced 40 new laptop models from every major OEM in the world powered by RTX GPUs. A short time after unveiling the technology at a reveal event with impressive demos of the likes of Battlefield 5, Metro Exodus and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Nvidia released the technology in its first form in the first GeForce RTX series graphics cards. The MSI GS75 comes sports a bigger 17.3-inch display panel whereas the GS65 features a bit smaller 15.6-inch display panel.
