The Galaxy S10 line of flagship smartphones from Samsung Mobile was released weeks ago and the world can't seem to have enough of it yet. But it's more likely that Samsung will wait until Verizon starts to expand its service to the more than 30 USA markets it plans to have online by the end of the year. Also, we have no launch details for the USA and other worldwide markets that will soon get 5G in the near future.
Verizon's website still says that the Galaxy S10 5G is coming soon and Samsung's website makes no mention of a release date.
The much-hyped foldable phone from Samsung isn't due to launch until late next month but, to the surprise of no one, a Galaxy Fold was already spotted in Vietnam. They can also get a flat 50% discount on one-time screen replacement within the first year of purchase.
Nina Bibby, CMO at O2 commented, "O2's 5G network will arrive in the four corners of the United Kingdom in 2019 and we want the next-generation of mobile services to launch with the very latest devices in the market".
Customers can pre-order the S10 range in Prism Blue from the 28th March, before it goes on sale in stores and online from the 4th April. In South Korea, for example, the device could cost more than $1,300 (at the existing currency rates), but full information will be provided by the parent company closer to launch. Initially, Big Red will rely exclusively on the Motorola Moto Z3 and the dedicated 5G Moto Mod.More news: $625 million dollar Powerball numbers to be picked Saturday night
Samsung Galaxy Fold uses plastic polymers, not glass, for its displays.
Over on the rear, the premium device borrows the cameras found on the Galaxy S10+. The front camera has 8MP.
In the camera department, the A40 has a dual camera setup on the rear, with a 16MP f/2.2 aperture primary sensor and a 5MP ultra-wide secondary sensor.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy Fold is supposed to be able to withstand 200,000 folds before seeing any visible repercussions, however Bloomberg suggested that users might see creases forming after just 10,000. This will help measure depth and will help with augmented reality applications. It comes with a 3100mAh battery and runs on Samsung One UI, based on Android 9 Pie.
