The LAPD scheduled a news conference for Tuesday morning as community leaders call on those who feel the need to retaliate to stand down, according to the report. Hussle, an LA native, was a self-admitted member of the Rollin 60s street crew, which he once described as "one of the biggest Crip gangs of our generation".
"We dealt with death, with murder", he told the Los Angeles Times in 2018.
Nipsey Hussle is survived by his two children, Kross Asghedom and Emani Asghedom, and his girlfriend, Lauren London.
